Technical processing of the form

The contact form sends your message to: info@essenzaliving.eu.

The website itself does not store the contents of the contact form in a database or permanent file.

The web server transfers the message locally to the mail server of the same hosting environment. No separate external form-processing service is used.

Once the message has been delivered, the enquiry and subsequent correspondence may be stored in our email system for as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry and any resulting business relationship.

Where statutory retention obligations apply to business correspondence or related records, the relevant information may be retained for the applicable statutory period.

5. Protection against misuse of the contact form

To protect the contact form against automated submissions, spam and misuse, the server temporarily records the time of form submissions associated with the sender.

For this purpose, the IP address is not stored in plain text. Instead, a SHA1 hash derived from the IP address is used as a temporary identifier.

The stored information consists of:

  • the hashed identifier derived from the IP address
  • timestamps of form submissions

A maximum of five submissions per hour is permitted.

These temporary records are stored outside the publicly accessible area of the website and cannot be accessed through the website.

They are automatically discarded after a maximum of one hour.

The purpose of this processing is to prevent spam, automated attacks and misuse of the contact form.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is protecting our website and communication systems against misuse.

The hashed identifier is treated as pseudonymised personal data and is not used to identify visitors or for any other purpose.

6. Cookies and tracking

This website does not currently set cookies.

We also do not use web analytics, behavioural tracking, advertising tracking or visitor profiling.

Accordingly, no visitor profiles are created and no automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR takes place.
